Allen's mind raced. His attacks had barely scratched the Guardian, and brute force clearly wasn't going to be enough. 'There has to be a weakness,' he thought, quickly reassessing the situation. These creatures weren't mini-bosses, but they were clearly designed to require more than raw power to defeat. 'Does this thing have a core?' Many RPGs had creatures with cores or weak points that needed to be targeted to inflict real damage.
Determined to figure it out, Allen backed away from the Guardian, his eyes scanning the statue for any sign of a weak spot. The towering stone figure lumbered forward, its headless form eerily silent as it raised its sword once more. Its body, though seemingly slow, moved with deliberate, unstoppable momentum.
