Zoe looked up at Allen with wide, unsure eyes, as if seeking some final reassurance that she was doing the right thing.
"You don't have to worry. Just be yourself—that's all that matters," he said softly, his voice filled with sincerity.
Zoe's tense shoulders relaxed slightly at his words, and a small, grateful smile tugged at the corners of her lips. She allowed Allen to guide her closer, her hesitation slowly melting away. She moved with a bit more confidence now.
"You did great, Zoe," Allen whispered, pressing a light kiss to the top of her head. The simple gesture seemed to ease her nerves even more, and she let out a soft sigh of contentment as she settled in beside him, her body leaning into his for comfort and reassurance.
"Thank you," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper but filled with genuine gratitude. "I was so nervous… I didn't know if I could do it."
