Villain Ch 39. She Teases Him And It Backfires On Her

Allen took in Larissa's appearance and couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness building up inside of him. She was dressed in a tight-fitting workout outfit that hugged her curves in all the right places, and a small towel hung loosely around her neck. It reminded him of the request she had made to him the day before.

'I want to do this with you in the real world.' The memory of her words caused his heart to beat faster in his chest.

"Larissa, what are you doing here?" he finally managed to ask.

"That's what I wanted to ask you. What are you doing here?" she returned Allen's question. Her heart was racing, pounding against her chest like a wild drum. Her gaze fixated on Allen's chiseled form, his body clad in a fit body t-shirt, she could clearly imagine what was underneath.

The memory of their steamy virtual rendezvous flashed before her eyes, leaving her breathless. 'Wait, I was the one who wanted it and I did it to tease him, but why did it backfire on me?' she thought. Yes, her last night's request was a tease. Well, half a tease, since she had to admit that he was good. She had been the one to initiate their virtual tryst, to tease him with her seductive words and suggestive actions. And yet, she couldn't deny the thrill she had felt, the pleasure of his touch even if it was only through the digital world.

She had never expected it to go any further than that, not with someone she didn't have any feelings for. It was all just a game. And so, when she asked him to meet in the real world, she had expected him to jump at the chance, to come to her apartment without a second thought.

Instead, he surprised her by asking for more time, indicating that he wasn't the type to jump into bed with just anyone. Also, his last confession in front of the others left her even more shocked.

And now… She couldn't deny the attraction she felt towards him, the way her body responded to him, and her heart that beat fast. She didn't know what to make of his hesitation, his reluctance to give in to their desires. Was he just playing hard to get, or did he truly have reservations about their connection?

It was a feeling she thought had been left behind in the hallowed halls of her university, where she harbored an unrequited crush.

Despite her efforts to keep a level head, she found herself struggling to maintain her composure. Her heart beat wildly in her chest, threatening to burst free. And yet, she managed to speak to him in a calm tone, surprising even herself.

"I was working out with my friend," he said, gesturing to the tall, muscular man standing beside him.

"I know," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I've never seen both of you here before."

"We just joined last week. Our last gym moved out to a farther place," he explained briefly.

"I see," she said with a smile. "Well, I'm a pilates instructor here. I usually teach evening classes, but today I had to cover for another instructor."

Before Allen could respond, Gerry turned to him. His eyes fixed on Larissa in disbelief. "Wait... you know her?" he whispered, his voice filled with shock.

"Yes," Allen replied simply.

Larissa took the initiative and extended her hand to Gerry, introducing herself with a warm smile. "I'm Larissa," she said. "I just met Allen yesterday."

Gerry took her hand. "Gerry," he introduced himself. "You know, I was in shock since Allen rarely hits on a girl," he said, unable to hide his bewilderment.

Larissa's eyes widened in surprise as she turned to face Allen. "Oh?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "So what you said last night was right."

Allen looked at her quizzically, a hint of annoyance creeping into his voice. "Why should I lie?" he asked, his tone clipped.

"Anyway, you guys are done, right?" she said, her eyes flickering between Allen and Gerry. "Would you like to eat together?"

"Sure," Allen said, a faint smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "We'll be waiting for you in the lobby."

With further ado, Larissa made her way toward the women's changing room. While the men went to the lobby.

Gerry's eyes followed Larissa's retreating figure as she disappeared from view. He watched her until she was out of sight, a small frown creasing his brow. Only when he was certain that she was gone he turned back to face Allen.

"How do you know her?" Gerry demanded, his voice laced with suspicion. "Did you go to the club last night without inviting me?"

Allen rolled his eyes, accustomed to Gerry's endless curiosity. He had known him for years, and he knew how persistent he could be when he set his mind to something. "You know I'm not the type of person who likes to go to the club without you guys," he reminded Gerry.

But Gerry was not deterred, his mind racing with possibilities. "Do you know her from a dating site?" he prodded, hoping for some semblance of an answer.

Allen shot him a flat stare, a clear indication that his friend was barking up the wrong tree. "No," he replied with a hint of annoyance. "You know I never do that."

Gerry's mind was now in overdrive, his curiosity piqued beyond measure. "Then what? Tell me," he demanded, his eagerness palpable.

Allen sighed, knowing that he wouldn't be able to dissuade Gerry from his quest for answers. "I met her in a game," he revealed, reluctantly.

Gerry's mind was reeling with the revelation. It was not something he would have expected from someone with her alluring presence and captivating aura. He stared at Allen, his face a mask of disbelief.

"She is a gamer?" Gerry asked incredulously, his voice low and hesitant.
