"Yeah, let's not make this weirder than it already is," Zoe added, her eyes narrowing as she glanced at Bella.
"Remember the quest," Allen interrupted, trying to steer the conversation back on track. "We're supposed to find the owner of the bell, not... electrocute her. Maybe we need to give the bell back to her and see what happens."
Bella let out a huff, rolling her eyes. "Sure, sure... but after I smack her a couple of times."
The group exchanged glances, not quite sure how to feel about Bella's current approach to dealing with what was clearly supposed to be a significant part of her character's past. It was clear that everyone was starting to question where this quest was going.
"You really want to smack around the younger version of yourself?" Jane asked, half in amusement, half in confusion. "That's some next-level therapy."
