Bella, slumped against a large rock, groaned dramatically, "No," she whined, stretching her arms over her head, her tail swishing lazily behind her. "I'm so done with this floor. I can't believe we're still here." She looked utterly exhausted, though still as sharp as ever. "All these traps, all these monsters. Not to mention that Riftkeeper who looks like a melted candle with too many eyes. He is ugly."
Alice, who had been nursing a mana potion beside her, grumbled, "I hate that Rift guy. It's a nightmare." She threw the empty potion bottle to the side, clearly frustrated. "He better drop something good this time, or I'm going to burn this entire dungeon down. I swear."
Shea turned toward Jane, who, strangely, had a big grin on her face. "Why do you look so happy?" Shea asked, raising an eyebrow. "You're usually the first to complain."
