Villain Ch 1093. This Place Sucks!
The scenery around them erupted into a cloud of dust and smoke, the deafening roar of the explosion slowly subsiding as the debris rained down around them.
When the smoke began to clear, Jane canceled her barrier, a mixture of relief and irritation flashing across her face. She glanced back at the group, shaking her head. "Yep, I fucking hate this place."
Vivian smirked. "See? It wasn't even five minutes before you stepped on something."
Jane rolled her eyes. "Not the time, Viv."
Shea glanced around warily, her sharp eyes scanning the dark shadows of the Rift. "Let's keep the teasing for later, shall we? That explosion was loud enough to wake the dead. We're sitting ducks if we don't move. The monsters in this place aren't exactly subtle."
As if in response to her words, a low, guttural sound echoed through the cavern, faint but growing closer.
