Sigma didn't have to think much about what that skill could do, he could tell, but he still wondered if it was good enough to make any changes on the battlefield.
Regardless, at that point in time, Sigma was moving too far away from the attacking point of the wall, but the flying snakes still were chasing him. That decreased some of the pressure that the others were facing. Still, it also made the soldiers who were guarding other points of the walls panic when they saw Sigma running toward them.

"I am almost out of arrows… time to check if this Earth Arrow effect is worth the while," Sigma said and then thought of using the bow without arrows in his hands. In the next moment, an stick with an arrowhead made of stone appeared in his hand.
Sigma didn't hesitate and chose his next target… in that short window of time, he saw a Fireball approaching, and then he aimed at it. His projectile hit and made the Fireball explode, but it still kept flying until it hit the head of the monster that fired it.

"Oh, it is definitely worth the while…" Sigma thought and then quickly used all his points into magic since he would need all the mana he could get to keep fighting.

It would be nice if his magic could also increase the power of his arrows. Still, Sigma knew that he was just being greedy… in any case, he had more than a few shots left, so he decided to go all out.
Archery had also leveled up, so Sigma managed to fire one arrow per second and kill the beasts with every single shot. It didn't take long for them to realize that they would never stop Sigma at that rate, and they were smart enough to approach while using Fireballs.
"They certainly aren't that stupid, huh," Sigma thought.
Unfortunately, the monsters made their choice too late. They had already used too much mana, so the frequency of their attacks was a lot slower than before, and Sigma managed to block and kill those that almost hit him before they could do so.
Things changed a bit when the beasts began to spread around the area and then tried to surround him. Sigma clicked his tongue in annoyance since he couldn't run anymore. Still, he had more than enough mana left to keep attacking.
Sigma's arrows flew left and right and landed in the monster's head with pinpoint precision. However, the beasts eventually got close enough to slap him with their tails, and some even bit his arms.
"Pieces of shit…" Sigma opened his eyes widely, showing a vicious glint.
In the next moment, Sigma dropped his bow and then grabbed the spear on his back and swung it widely… the attack split the heads of the beasts in two, and then he felt some relief. It didn't last long since he felt some explosions behind him.
When he turned around, Sigma saw an earth wall falling apart and some monsters flying and preparing more fireballs.
" So, you came…" Sabrina suddenly said and then attacked the other monsters with ice arrows. "You should have approached us."
"I didn't think that it would be a good idea since, unlike you all, I don't plan to fight to the death to defend this city," Sigma explained.
"... I am not sure if I should feel grateful or pissed at your sincerity," Sabrina furrowed her eyebrows.
Sabrina's attacks killed the beasts in a single hit as well, but she was starting to look pale… fortunately, the number of flying enemies had decreased to a few dozen, and most of them decided to run away.
Sigma went to check the area below the wall and saw those giant beasts running away as well… it seemed that their plan was to use the flying monsters to buy time and kill the warriors on the walls and let the giants do the heavy lifting, which was to destroy the wall… the enemies had a decent plan and were smart enough to fall for a retreat since the giant beasts wouldn't be able to kill the soldiers.
"Let's have Eclair look at your wounds… we can't let them get infected," Sabrina said and then sighed.
"This ended weirdly fast," Sigma said while furrowing his eyebrows.
"I agree, but I guess the enemies didn't expect that we would fight this well back… or their plans require several attacks of this level to work," Sabrina said after nodding.
Sabrina pulled Sigma to where the others were since he was thinking about the enemies… he could heal himself, but showing that now would make him look suspicious. How could he have forgotten his memories but still could use magic like that? Sigma's instincts were telling him to stay on guard when it came to that matter. Not to mention, aside from Eclair, Sigma only saw a single other person being able to use healing magic, even though more than twenty could use magic attacks.
"I am fine. I am not really one of the people that needed the most attention here," Sigma said once he saw the people being treated by Eclair and the other healer, who was a boy who was barely fifteen.
Both of them were quite pale, and Sigma assumed that it was a sign of someone when they had little mana left. Still, those few attacks took forty percent of Sigma's health, so he wanted to some place alone and healed himself. Unfortunately, it seemed that Ed wanted to bother him.
