While the targets were recovering from the damage caused by the Fireball, Sigma hit them with his arrows and killed them. He missed the third, and the arrow only pierced his shoulder. As for the last two, they began to run away toward the darkness, but another large Fireball hit them. One of them was burned to death, while the other was rolling on the ground and on fire, and Sigma finished him off.

[Level Up]
Sigma wondered if he would get hit by a Fireball if he revealed himself now. After all, those two didn't know who had saved them. In any case, there was another one to finish it off, and he was hiding behind the corpses, so Sigma had to approach and reveal himself.
With a bow in hand and an arrow nocked, Sigma approached the campfire and then saw the final enemy crawling away. Sigma also saw the shadows of the women behind the trees since they didn't want to reveal themselves in that situation.
In any case, after finishing off the final enemy, Sigma approached the guy who had been tortured. He had bled a lot, but his wounds had closed somehow, and he wasn't in danger. He truly looked like a warrior since he had some scars on his arms and was quite muscular. Shaved head, almost 1.9 meters tall, and the willpower to withstand torture, he probably also was someone who could be troublesome for Sigma in a fight… he wondered why he considered that.
"Who are you?" One of the women shouted.
"Just someone who was passing by when I noticed the camp," Sigma replied and then began to check the bodies of the enemies, and he didn't find many valuable things.
"They must have some cloaks on their tents. Can you bring those to us?" The woman asked.
It was better if he did that to make them understand that he wasn't an enemy. Then again, Sigma didn't know if he could get any Intel from them… they might be just members of another criminal group or something. Regardless, Sigma grabbed the cloaks and then went to deliver them. Those two hid behind the trees to hide everything as if their lives depended on it.
In any case, Sigma returned to check the possession of the guys he had just killed and got some decent knives, two bows, quivers, and three spears. He couldn't get all of them, but he got one of each. The quality of their weapons was way above his, though.
They also had some food and water, and Sigma was truly thirsty. While he was helping himself, Sigma saw the girls dashing to check on the big guy. Sigma only took a glimpse of them, but it seemed that they were in their late teens while the tall warrior was in the middle of his twenties. The age difference wasn't that big for them not to be married, actually. Considering how he looked before when their clothes began to be cut, it made sense.
Still, it felt a bit weird since the girls looked pretty similar despite having long blond hair and the other had shoulder length black hair. They were quite pretty and almost identical since their facial features were basically the same. Regardless, Sigma forgot about that when he saw the light coming from the hands of the black-haired woman when she touched the wounded guy.
[The spell Heal was added to the skill shop.]
The wounds on that guy's body began to heal and close, and after she used enough times, the wounds looked like they had vanished. That was quite something, but Sigma forgot about that and focused his eyes on his skill points.
Skill Point: 60
Skill Shop:
Fireball - 10 skill points
Heal - 20 skill points
To think that Sigma could learn the abilities of others once he sees them and has enough skill points. His power was puzzling him more and more. Until now, he had ignored his MP a bit for too long, but having a spell like Heal would help him more than a little bit. Without hesitation, Sigma allocated the status points and also increased his magic by twenty points. He also used the extra mana to increase his experience, but this time he didn't level up.

"This isn't half bad, even at level one. I can already recover one-third of my HP. Three casts should be enough to close all wounds," Sigma nodded to himself.
"Urgh, they got us good," The warrior said, and then Sigma turned to face them. "You helped us, thanks…"
"... I wouldn't thank me in your place," Sigma replied. "I watched you being tortured for a while, after all."
Those three gave Sigma a puzzled look, but then they understood the implications of his words. It was too risky to have acted like that in the first place… he didn't look that strong in the first place, so the chances of failure were high. They also considered the possibility that he waited for the right moment to attack, which was when the enemies split up.
"While I don't like the way you implied that, that doesn't change the fact that you helped us," The blonde girl said while furrowing her eyebrows. "My name is Sabrina, and these are Eclair and Ed. What is your name?"
"Sigma, I guess," Sigma replied, already organizing his new gear. "Truth be told, I decided to help you guys because it would be more convenient for me to get some information out of you all."
