Usually, Sigma wouldn't retort to torture, but he didn't have much of a choice in that situation. Still, even after three hours, Icallos wasn't showing any signs of giving up. He kept going for a while, hoping that the energy would eventually answer his questions.
"Who else aside from me is here?" Sigma asked after he kicked the head of the enemy for the tenth time. "Someone was trying to help me before, and you should know who did that."
Icallos groaned as if he was trying to say something, but Sigma didn't get the message. He did that several other times once he asked him the same question. Still, eventually, he stopped moving altogether, and Sigma felt his mana pool increasing exponentially… Icallos died of blood loss.
"What a retard… as if this will change anything," Sigma muttered, and then he looked around the room for anything useful. "It doesn't look like I hit the jackpot here."
