While Sigma wanted to head south as soon as possible, they had a few things to prepare. Lomeo said that the cold in that area was so intense that it could be considered a natural barrier.
Lomeo decided to help them a bit further and gave the group a few magic items that would help them fight against the cold. Sigma also learned that using the magical stones of ice monsters made the items that they were attached to exponentially increase their attributes as well.

Sigma asked to one of the shops that crafted and sold those items if more than one magic stone could be attached to those items. The craftsman looked at Sigma like he was saying the craziest thing in the world… in the end, at least he explained that it wasn't possible since the magic stones also worked like cores in the same way they worked for monsters, so they couldn't have more than one core.
