Sigma and Shyona jumped backward to avoid the confrontation, but the armed guards kept chasing them… the first thing that Sigma thought was that Reik had laid a trap for them. However, the second thing was that some spy spread the news about Reik's visit. It was a bit too fast, but it wasn't unlikely that someone among those guys' ranks would have some abilities that would let them relay messages fast.
"Wait, we aren't enemies. We just came to talk," Shyona said while pointing the palm of her right hand to the guards, who readily ignored her. "It can't be helped… knock them down, but don't kill them."
That would be easy. Those guys were only level ninety, after all. Still, when they realized that Sigma and Shyona were going to fight, they transformed… all of them turned into some weird type of creature that had a face filled with fur, and most of their bodies were covered by dark armor. Sigma could tell that their strength had nearly doubled.
