When Sigma approached the camp that once belonged to Forsk a bit before sunrise, he noticed that his soldiers were coming and going and doing all sorts of things. Readying horses, carrying weapons, and moving in groups to different areas… it looked like they were preparing for some battle. Sigma could understand why they were acting like that.
"Even after killing their master, they won't be free from his orders," Shyona explained. "Usually, they are imprinted with several orders when they turn, and one of them is absolute loyalty. That works really against low-level grunts."
Sigma had several things to say about that, but he decided to keep quiet since it wouldn't change anything. Besides, he was starting to hear Shyona click her tongue a lot lately when he ignored her. That will probably eventually make her leave or make her get angry and mess up in a fight. Either way, it was a win-win situation for him.
