Meanwhile, Raven was waiting nervously in the room where he was to face his challenge. The enchantress had promised him a riddle, but he had no idea what it could be.
As he paced back and forth, he tried to calm his nerves by reciting various riddles he had heard over the years, but none of them seemed quite right. He knew that the enchantress's riddle would be something far more difficult than any he had encountered before.
Suddenly, the door creaked open, and the enchantress appeared in the doorway. "Are you ready for your challenge?" she asked, her eyes glittering in the dim light.
Raven took a deep breath and nodded, steeling himself for whatever was to come.
"Very well," the enchantress said, gesturing for Raven to follow her. "Your challenge awaits."
They walked down a long, dark corridor, the only sound the echo of their footsteps on the cold stone floor. Raven could feel his heart racing with anticipation as they approached a heavy wooden door.
"Behind this door is the riddle you must solve," the enchantress said, her voice low. "Are you ready?"
Raven nodded again, and the enchantress pushed open the door. Inside, Raven could see a small table with a single piece of parchment lying on top. The parchment was rolled up and tied with a silver ribbon.
"The riddle is on that parchment," the enchantress said. "But be warned: it is not an easy one."
Raven stepped forward and untied the ribbon, unrolling the parchment to reveal the riddle written in elegant script.
"I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with wind. What am I?"
Raven read the riddle over and over, trying to decipher its meaning. It was a tricky one, but he was determined to solve it.
He paced around the room, muttering to himself as he tried to think of the answer. "I speak without a mouth... hear without ears... come alive with wind..." he repeated over and over.
Suddenly, he had an idea. "An echo!" he exclaimed, turning to the enchantress with a triumphant smile.
The enchantress nodded slowly, a small smile on her lips. "Well done," she said. "You have solved the riddle."
Raven felt a surge of relief and pride as he realized he had passed the challenge. He thanked the enchantress and left the room, eager to find out how Isabella and Rodney had fared in their own tests.
As he walked down the hallway, he heard a commotion coming from a nearby room. He cautiously approached the door and peeked inside to see what was happening.
To his surprise, he saw Isabella and Rodney both standing in the center of the room, facing off against a group of enchanted objects.
There was a suit of armor with a sword in hand, a vase with sharp teeth, and a set of curtains that seemed to be moving on their own.
Isabella was locked in combat with the suit of armor, her sword clashing against its metal limbs. Rodney, on the other hand, was dodging the vase's snapping jaws while trying to find a way to disable it.
Raven quickly assessed the situation and realized that he needed to help his friends. He stepped into the room and used his wit to devise a plan.
"Isabella, aim for the sword!" he shouted, pointing to the sword in the suit of armor's hand. "Rodney, use your instincts to find a way to trap the vase!"
Isabella and Rodney quickly followed Raven's instructions, and soon the suit of armor was disarmed and the vase was trapped under.
