Grey grit his teeth as he was pushed back again, having to create a wall of mana shields to fend off Edol's consecutive attacks.
Every time Edol moved forward, the ground beneath his own feet as well as underneath his enemy shifted, constantly throwing the Easthill commander off his balance.
As the fight continued, Grey started to adapt, but that only doubled his loss when Edol reversed what direction he shifted the ground, making the man topple over completely.
"What annoying kids!"
Grey somehow righted himself mid-fall, then thrust his hand toward Edol. He was way too far to hit the Brit, but Tori's eyes glimmered as she saw his actions, and she dove in front of Edol, bearing her shield.
She was launched backward almost a meter, only stopping when she collided with Edol.
To the side, Nes's eyes widened as he saw the result of the strike, and he readied his spear, preparing to step in if need be.
