Edol and his group continued happily fishing for the next few hours. They never went more than a couple minutes without pulling in a fish, and neither of the two kids got bored during the time.
Edol had initially planned to hang out at the fishing spot until Nes came over to fetch him for training, but their basket of fish was almost entirely full before the elder could come over.
'Maybe I should make a run back to the town hall to drop off some of these first… wait, there's still that other dude.'
Despite the stranger claiming he had to hurry south, he was still sitting off to the side trying to catch fish. At his side, there were only two salmon and the perch that he'd caught right away.
'Dang, this guy is really unlucky! We should help him out!'
As he was thinking, Edol was also casting Lily's line back out into the river. Leaning down, he spoke quietly into her ear.
