The girl continued trying to free herself, even as Edol pulled at the cloth. The Brit even had to dodge away a few times, avoiding her random punches.
"Yo, Elaine. I'm trying to help you."
Just as Edol spoke, Elaine's fist struck out again, this time hitting him just below the kneecap.
The spot was exactly the same one doctors back on earth had hit to check reactions, and the result here was the same.
Edol's leg kicked out in response to the strike, kicking the tangled-up girl.
"Ow!"
Elaine finally stopped struggling and complained in a tearful voice.
"Why did you kick me? That hurt!"
"You hit my knee! I wasn't trying to!"
Edol finally managed to pull the tent off of the girl, then chuckled at her appearance. Her hair was a total mess, and she was looking up at him with an annoyed expression.
