The group continued north, even as the sun fell toward the horizon. They were still unsure if the cult was still following them, and even if they might be able to defeat their pursuers now that they were with the spellcrafting relic team, Led and Edol urged their party forward.
Led had told Edol that he wasn't much of a fighter, and after being in battle with the cackling cultist, he didn't think that he would be able to find victory in battle, even if he was outside where he could use an earth legacy.
"Led, is there anything you know of that I can use to get better at fighting? I was completely held back, all I could do was watch my friends die. I couldn't make it through that cackling cultist's mana shields."
Led paused as Edol spoke, then began describing the features of the cultist who'd come to attack him at the tavern.
"Yea, that sounds like him. How did you escape?"
Led let out a long sigh.
