'Hm. There definitely are way more people here than usual.'
As Edol walked through the streets toward the Hogilope tavern, he observed crowds of people milling around in the streets. Many of them looked to the west nervously, anxiously hoping that their belongings wouldn't be burnt to the ground by the powerful fires.
Shaking his head as he saw many people crying, Edol picked up his pace.
The Hogilope was just outside the Western trade district, close to where Edol'd come out from it. It didn't take him long to arrive there, and when he did, he was greeted by a few familiar faces.
Led was still at his usual spot, and sitting at the table around him were two figures. As he entered, Edol could see the side profile of their faces.
'Finn and Levi… why are they crying?'
Edol hurried over to the group, his appearance momentarily startling the two relic hunters.
"Edol…"
Levi's words trailed off, and he turned back to Led.
