Before the pillar could smash through Edol's skull, his teammates yanked on the rope tied around him.
Boom!
The large pillar of rock slammed into the ground, shaking the entire room.
Edol climbed back to his feet, shooting a grateful look at Pierre and Tori. Thanks to his teammates' reaction speeds, Edol would get to experience another day of living.
'Damn, though. If it's not gold, will we have to go through all of the colors trying to guess it? I think we still only get three attempts, though, before it tries to kill all of us!'
The team was able to pull one person out from beneath an attack, but if it targeted the whole squad all at once, they would likely be doomed.
