Finally snapping to himself, Edol began to move. Even if it was encompassing his whole mind, now wasn't the time to think about why Seph had left.
"Pierre, grab stuff from your room. I've got all my stuff gathered up!"
Tori charged out from the ladies' room, her backpack stuffed full. The team always kept their things packed and ready for a tomb run, so it luckily didn't take them long to grab the rest of their things.
Aside from what he already had packed up, Edol only needed to grab his blanket and the pair of clothes he'd worn the previous day.
In under a minute, the only thing left in the room was a layer of dirt on one of the cots. Looking at it for a moment, Edol decided to sweep his arm across it, scattering the dirt all over the floor.
"Let's go, now!"
Tori's voice rang through the house as she headed for the door, prompting everyone else to hurry to follow her. Edol snatched up the letter as he ran past.
