Edol was awoken by a tap on the shoulder, prompting the boy to squint his eyes, trying to see through the darkness.
Pierre was standing over him, his eyes the only visible thing in the dark room.
"Why so early?"
It was the morning after Edol and Seph had been stranded without clothes. After having a chat with the elderly woman, she eventually returned their clothes, and the duo made their way back to the house.
The whole experience was odd. The elderly woman seemed nice enough, but when talking to her, the conversation always seemed to revolve back to what she'd seen that morning.
Noticing how uncomfortable Seph was getting and not feeling well himself, Edol managed to rush the woman along, allowing them to escape with still half-damp clothing.
The rest of the day had been unremarkable, Edol having spent most of it with Pierre. Today the two men would be heading out once more in search of relic tombs.
