Shortly after Willow retired to her room to take some time to think, a knock sounded at the door.
"Willow? Can I come in?"
"Sure."
Joff pushed through the wooden door, his eyes scanning the room for somewhere to sit while they chatted. Unfortunately, it was almost completely bare, so he ended up standing near the door.
"Willow, could you tell me about that eagle of yours? Where did you find him?"
Ghost hopped forward, brushing his feathers up against Willow's side.
"I'm taking care of him for a friend right now. His owner was going to be pretty busy for the next month, so I brought him with me to Miaan. Why do you ask?"
The young man scratched his head.
"I knew an eagle that looked just like this one… exactly like it. I would've thought this was my father's eagle, but I've seen that one die with my own eyes."
Ghost's eyes pricked up as he heard the boy's words.
