It was the same thing Willow had already heard from almost everyone she's questioned on the way here. Having Ghost along made gathering information a lot easier. She'd witnessed her father do it in the past, but he always had to take some financial damage to get random folks to talk.
Instead of bribing people for information, it was better to just start off with a good impression, then pursue information afterward. Eddie, Willow's father, had always gone for the easiest targets for information.
"Kids. Give a kid a present, and they'll tell you anything. If they don't know, they'll probably go and ask someone who does. If there aren't any around you can try asking other folks, but in a lot of places, they'll be warier."
Willow lifted Ghost back up onto her shoulder, ignoring the boy's still outstretched hand.
"Sorry kid, I've gotta head into the city now. I'll try to come back later and let you hang out with Nibbles again!"
