Any of Edol's remaining anger quickly faded at the mention of spellcrafting, and he quickly rejoined Tori next to the trap.
"Alright. Every trap is different, as are the methods for disarming them. For some, it's better to just trigger the trap remotely and avoid its effects."
Tori reached her hand down, touching the ground next to the trap.
"It's important to know where a trap can be activated, and where it's safe to touch. Depending on what element legacy you have, some traps are easier than others. For example, my water legacy has a tough time moving through the ground, and I have to be right next to the trap to disarm it. For someone like you, disarming it from a distance using your earth legacy would be much safer. This goes both ways, though. It'll be tough for you to handle a trap that's in water."
Edol was able to follow everything the girl was saying so far. He'd already related mana to electricity after noticing a number of odd similarities.
