Pierre dismounted from his horse, then approached the farmer.
"Alright, sir! We'll do our best to retrieve your pet chicken! Just don't forget to give us eggs later!"
The team leader's eyes glimmered until Tori walked up behind him, lightly slapping his back.
"Pierre. Let's focus on the tomb first."
"... Alright. But I'll still keep an eye out for the chicken!"
Pierre turned back to the farmer.
"Sir, would you please watch over our horses while we're gone? If we don't return within three days, please bring them back to Edain's stables."
One thing the ranch-stables asked for from relic hunters was a will. If a team was heading out to a tomb, there was a certain chance of them never returning. Knowing who to distribute their remaining belongings to was important, and having hunters leave wills prevented any possible disputes.
