Chapter 364 - 55.4 Vines

The cloth-like walls of the tent fell apart from the soldier's weight as he crashed through with the subtlety of a speeding truck. Quickly backing up, Lise and I barely managed to avoid getting hit by the guy as he landed beneath our feet, his face red and his eyes slowly widening at the sight of us.

 

"I' intrus..."

 

Judging from the slow-developing hostile tone in his voice, we were far from being invited into their encampment at all. With a sigh, I drew the Feuermischung off my back as I prepared myself for a fight against a foreign enemy. I already knew this was an inevitability, but I at least hoped that we would get through without alerting the enemy.

 

"I' intrus!"

 

And with that, the foreign party gained two uninvited guests.
