The fiery woman's sarcastic smirk widened tenfold as her flaming seat lowered down to my level. She still looked like her usual self from such a short distance; her attire only having changed just the tiniest amount judging from the small brooch now attached to her collar. Talk about class.
"I'm glad you noticed." she beamed, her tone dripping with smugness with every syllable that she uttered. "I fashioned it just for you, Master."
I sighed at the hilarity of the situation, "What did I do wrong this time?"
I was actively trying to avoid pissing her off too... Was it something that I offhandedly said earlier? It hadn't even been a full day since we last talked, and the only people I've conversed with since were the twins, and I was sure I hadn't really said anything bad about Flare back then, right?
