The freezing cold of the north was something I had never experienced in my life. Living in a tropical climate did that to people. Add the fact that I was pretty much barely punching my way into the middle class, it was pretty much a given that I was never going to visit any other country unless I somehow made it big in a lottery or something. Then of course, buying a fully specced out PC out of my own pocket as a reward for myself kind of set me back a few months out of my paycheck.
So color me surprised when I woke up almost freezing to death.
