Let's run it back...
Tanaka and Coco were born in the same neighborhood, coincidentally, their parents are close friends, back when they were college students, they lived near each other because it was convenient for their jobs, and because they hated traveling whenever they hung out.
Coincidentally, the parents also sent them to the same school, at first, they didn't know, and the parents hadn't introduced each other yet so they were distant.
They adopted their parents' introverted sides, so they never had a lot of friends to form a circle, and so, by fate, they met when they were in the same grade, and they easily became friends due to having similar likes and even dislikes.
Almost like it was a coincidence.
But in reality, their likes are dislikes are just their parents, they immediately became close to the point that when they were together, they didn't join in parties or group gatherings, just in their own bubble.
One day, in Coco's house...
"Which uni do you want to go to?" Coco asked while she was relaxing on the sofa, checking something on her phone.
They talk quietly all the time, it's one of the habits they've developed together.
"Somewhere I can easily get into, I don't like anything fancy, I am going for Business Management after all, almost all uni have them," Tanaka answered as his head was lying on Coco's lap.
Coco looked down at Tanaka lying on her lap, Tanaka felt her gaze and looked back at her.
"Wanna go to uni far from here? It'd be bothersome if our former classmates applied with us to nearby universities, nearby is convenient but not for our social batteries, it's gonna be difficult if it's far but if we live in an apartment near it, we'll be set," Coco suggested.
"The two of us?" Tanaka asked.
"The two of us," Coco answered.
And so, they both told their parents, but because they wanted to be in the same apartment near their universities, Coco's parents wanted to meet not just Tanaka but also his parents.
To their surprise, their kid who they think had met their best buddy turns out to be the child of their best friends, this made their parents very relaxed and trusting that they can go to their college days smoothly.
They also said they were dating, bringing their worries back.
Tanaka and Coco then went to the university they wanted to apply to; their parents were the ones who set up their apartments, and they also had them set up CCTVs in the house where the parents could survey them, just in case.
But nothing really happened throughout their college days, there might be times that they would kiss and hug but that's all, they are wrapped in their hobbies, courses, and chores that doing it never crossed their minds.
Even without it, their relationships grew better than most couples they see in their universities, even if they go on dates occasionally, their love for each other still grows higher that they decided to find part-time jobs to save up for their marriage.
Their parents were the ones who took care of their expenses, but they decided to not use their money for their marriage, instead, they'd take fewer dates, eat more than enough, and save their salary for their future.
Not even their parents knew this, they only see them going about their days normally in the CCTVs, so they're not suspicious.
4 years later, after doing all of this every day, after graduating, and finding the respective jobs relating to the courses they'd taken, they announced to their parents they would be getting married.
With how they planned this all out and hearing about their hard work, it made them so proud that they decided to help their marriage anyway.
And in just the age of 24, they got married and settled in a house near their jobs.
