Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Ana stopped at the entrance to the house, took control of the gate and opened. He prayed that his mother had already returned to work when she came across the car parked in the garage.

Drug! " Ana knew well that if the car was in the garage it meant that her mother would not return to the office.

He came in carefully at home and went through the kitchen door, so he could get straight to his room without meeting his mother. But when she opened the door, she had an unpleasant surprise waiting for her.

**

Baran returned from lunch in a better mood and Aisha realized that even smiling alone the boss was.

Kerem was locked in his office and the secretary warned him that Baran was back.

As soon as Baran came in and got comfortable in his chair, Aisha came in bringing the coffee the chef loved and asked if anything had happened at lunch.

He's looking different, he looks like he saw a green bird —The secretary laughed at the chief's eye and Baran said that maybe he actually found some bird with the most beautiful eyes he'd ever seen.

Looks like your lunch was good. I'll let you work in peace, and Kerem will soon come and talk to you.

Aisha left closing the door behind him, while Baran turned on his notebook to check the day's e-mails. With all the fuss, he barely had time to organize his things. He recalled lunch with that girl and how, within minutes, she made him forget his problems.

Don't think nonsense, Baran Divit. Don't want your name involved in scandals and you have other priorities to think about at the moment.

His cell phone vibrated on the table and he saw it was his sister's message. By miracle, Leyla had spent most of the day without calling or texting, and if she remembered anything at the time, it was because something had happened.

**

Lale passed the afternoon sermon to her daughter, while Ahmet, Ana's younger brother, only laughed at the scolding she was carrying.

Samia told me that you had lunch and you were coming home. Now answer me, from college to here won't take an hour and thirty minutes.

Ana had already thought about what she would say and waited for her mother to finish passing the sermon to start trying to convince her.

"Mother, now that you've spoken, I'm going to explain. On the way home, the clasp of my bracelet came loose and I didn't know where to fix it, then I remembered a jewelry store that's close to college. You know how it is, right, I talk too much and I was talking to the little gentleman who fixed the clasp of my bracelet. And that was it, and please forgive me, I promise I won't do it again.

Lale knew she had been harsh in words and Hakan had already said that Ana was no longer a child but an adult girl, but for her, her Ana would always be that black-haired, emerald-eyed girl she loved so much.

"All right, this time I'll let it go. But you let me know when that kind of unforeseen event happens. She complains that I don't use social networks, but you seem to forget when it's necessary. I've already helped your brother with his homework, go to his room and change this outfit and i'll start preparing dinner.

The mother went to the pots, while Ana took the backpack from the top of the table and went to the room. As he passed his brother he heard the boy mocking her:

"Just Mom and Dad to believe in your soft talk. "Before Ana lessoned the boy, he went faster and ran near his mother.

The girl entered the room, threw her purse on the floor and lay down on the bed. She kept her eyes closed for a few minutes and her thoughts came back hours ago when she and Baran had lunch together and how he turned out to be a nicer man than she thought.

She remembered her friends, took her purse off the floor and took her phone off. Before he locked the bedroom door, took the headphones, plugged in the device and made the video call.

**

Baran and Kerem talked about the agency's next steps and the publicist told aloud about Ana. He omitted the girl's age and the friend said he should be careful because many girls took advantage of older men to apply blows and needy the way he was could end up falling into some.

She's no con man. It's okay that I called her a blackmailer because she really tried to trick me, but Ana is a lot of fun.

Now let's talk about you and not me, because in the last few months my life boils down to failures and at least you must have something good to tell.

**

Ana heard her friends' sermon, and her mother was talking and talking about Elçin and Samia at the foot of her ear.

You're such a smart ass, you ran to his car, you wouldn't even let us look at the man's face. Ana is serious, I've never met anyone as unknowawed as you.

Elçin complained about her friend who ran away without introducing Baran to them, and Samia tried to calm their spirits.

It's not like that either, Elçin, Ana knows she made a mistake, and I'm sure she won't do it again.

Samia, my dear friend, do you really know your friend Ana? Imagine us both on the police pages, because of this crazy woman.

The two spoke for almost 30 minutes and Ana after hearing so much answered the friends.

Girls, Baran's a good people. It's okay that it's kind of grumpy and cranky, but he's cool yes. He bought me lunch, fixed his lucky bracelet, and even gave me his business card.

Ana admired the bracelet on her wrist, recalling with a smile on her face the conversation with Baran at the diner.

Ana is obviously going to throw that card away, will forget about this man who so far you just said the name and move on.
