After reheating the soy milk, Liliana transferred it from the saucepan to a mug. She brought the drink to the dining table, only to find that Lucas hadn't started eating.
"Hey! The porridge will turn cold. Are you daydreaming?"
Liliana's voice pulled Lucas out of his trance. Blinking his eyes a few times, he gradually regained the clarity of his gaze.
"Ah... yes, I'll eat now," Lucas looked down at the bowl of porridge sitting opposite him, "Boss Xin, aren't you hungry? Just eat with me. It's getting late for dinner already."
The clock was showing a little over nine-thirty. At ten, the cafe would be closed.
