"Sorry! I'm so sorry!"
Liliana bit her lower lip, grimacing over the little incident that occurred earlier. She watched Lucas put his left hand under the water faucet.
"It's nothing ah. I didn't focus. My fault," Lucas chuckled softly, trying to appease his boss whose expression was close to crying.
After Lucas accidentally cut his left index finger, a small chaos ensued.
Liliana urged him to leave everything behind and quickly tend to the cut. He washed the blood off under the running water while being watched by her frightened eyes.
"Is Mr. Liu alright?" asked Mrs. Fu who saw what happened, "Is the cut big? We need to treat it quickly."
"Miss Xin, where's the first-aid kit? We have one, right?" Harris brought up the steel frying basket from the deep fryer, "I can get it for you."
"Ah, it's in my office. Wait, I'll..."
Liliana's words were cut off by Lucas.
"I can do it myself. Just show it to me."
