Lyria got up to go to the healer's tent.
All three males were standing guard. They were startled to see Lyria walking out of the tent.
"Where are you going? You should be resting Lyria." Noah got up from his sitting position on the ground.
"I feel fine, Noah."
"He's right. You used too much of your life force. You need to lay down for a couple of days and replenish your strength." Silver agreed with Noah.
"I was out for a while. I have too much to do." She turns to look at Ethan hoping he would take her side.
"The other priests are doing fine with your work. They take turns monitoring the forest and healing the wounded. They even send meals to the females."
Lyria felt betrayed that they would all turn against her.
"Fine, but I will not be laying in bed all day." She turned around and went back into the tent.
"That's it?" Noah stated.
"It's not like we can make her stay in bed," Ethan said.
Silver looked at the tent suspiciously.
A little over an hour later Lyria walked out in a new look.
"Wow, you look amazing."
"Thanks. I was thinking about this style for a while but never had time to do it till now."
Everyone looked at her in surprise.
She decided to wrap her head up with the spidersilk leaving only her eyes uncovered, even her hair was hidden. She made sleeves that were tied around her upper arm so when she wasn't moving her arm you couldn't see skin. A top that was tied right under her chest and went up around her neck showing off her toned abdomen. The bottom tied two pieces on either side of her waist leaving a slit on both sides for better movement. It went all the way down to her ankles.
"Now I can get around better and once I soak these clothes in with some coal, I can better blend in."
The female before them got even more beautiful. She showed off more skin which was enticing but the males knew better.
"She'll need a guard on her at all times," Ethan spoke his thoughts out loud. Both males nodded.
"I can take care of myself." She looked down at herself to make sure everything was tied tight. "Ethan, Noah. Let's go to the training grounds."
"Why?"
"While my energy is trying to balance itself out, I'll work on building my physical strength." She spoke like it was the most normal thing around.
"Are you sure?" Ethan wasn't confident in letting her go train with the other males.
"I'm not dumb enough to jump right in. I'll do my own thing for a while and then go in when there more comfortable with me."
Ethan didn't like it but Silver didn't make a move to stop her so he led everyone to the training grounds.
Lyria took a deep breath before going off to the side. She took a stance and closed her eyes. She started doing slow movements into different stances, punching or kicking as she moved. She did this for two hours. Everyone watched confused. When she finished that she ran around the training ground several times before stopping in front of Ethan.
"Normally I'm faster than that but I haven't done this for a while so I'm starting off slowly till my body adjusts. My father and brothers would be so disappointed in me." She smiled sadly.
"Do you know Ryker from Ancestral City?"
Lyrias eyes went wide with shock, "How do you know my brother?"
"Your brother was here before he was wounded. The king in Feline City passed away so Prince Koda left and took Ryker with him to get proper care."
"Prince Koda was here too." Lyria fell to her knees as so many emotions overcame her.
"They're alive." She whispered her eyes burning as she held back her tears.
"Everyone is saying the new king is too weak so he's coming over here to take charge. The brothers are staying in Feline City to keep the balance till the king comes back. I just got word of this yesterday so he'll be here in about two weeks."
"So Prince Koda isn't coming here?" Lyria looked up at Ethan. He knelt down in front of her.
"Not anytime soon. When the king gets here I can get an escort for you, so you can go to Feline City."
"No, it's fine. I'm happy to know they're alive and safe. What made you ask if I knew Ryker?"
"He moved like that as well. Said he and his sister came up with it. He also said it looks better when using the moves on someone who moves against them. He was a great fighter but wouldn't teach anyone to do what he could do. I'll admit I'm jealous right now."
"We both learned from our father. He thought if we started young we would become even greater warriors when we're adults."
"I heard even Prince Koda went to learn from General Lex and it showed. They both leveled up while being here, which made everyone want to learn from them even more."
"Being a female my training was different. I worked mostly with speed and keeping my presence concealed for sneak attacks. I can't really take males head on so I did what worked best for me."
"That's smart. Those traits are what make you dangerous, being able to know your weak and strong points."
"You have no idea." Lyria gave Ethan a devious smile.
Ethan shook his head at her. "Do you want to send word to your brother and Prince Koda?"
"No, I'll see them when this is all done and over with. For now, I'll concentrate on the war and they can stay focused on what they need to do."
"Alright, then get up and look brave, the others are watching you." She nods her head and gets up dusting herself off while mentally and emotionally stabilizing herself.
