Lyria didn't wake up till dinner time. Noah made enough food for her to eat. She sat down and ate her portion before getting up and laying back down.
"Are you alright?"
"I used a lot of energy and haven't had enough sleep yet. I only got up because my stomach felt like it was going to eat itself. Now I just need some more sleep. I'll see you in the morning."
"Okay. I'll keep watching your back."
"Thank you." Her voice went down to a whisper as she fell asleep.
Ethan stopped by shortly after.
"She still asleep?"
"She woke up shortly to eat. She said she used up a lot of energy and needs rest to replenish it. I am curious about you though. Who are you? Won't you get in trouble for leaving all the time?"
"I'm General Ethan from King City. I'm in charge of taking down Blackmist Forest."
"Wow, a hot shot general. So do you plan to ask Lyria to become her mate?"
"I don't know yet."
"What do you mean you don't know yet? She is absolutely amazing. She cooks, hunts, fights, she funny and charming which already makes her better than most females. And an added bonus, she is breathtakingly beautiful."
"You've had the chance to get to know her, I haven't. I've seen a fierce survivor and a determined female that risks her life. We only get her and if she dies, all the ones connected to her die as well. I just feel like it's not worth it."
"Well, I'm going to ask her if I can put my claim mark on her as well."
"See she has another male and yet he's nowhere in sight."
"I don't know the reason but I think he's a slave. I never saw him change into his man form."
"See there's still so much we don't know about her and you're ready to tie your life to hers."
"We'll be here a while and so far were the only ones allowed to be near her. It's the perfect opportunity to get to know her. I do know she wants to search for someone after we finish off Blackmist."
"I have an army to run. I don't have time to get to know her."
"And yet you're here all the time now." Noah made a snide comment.
Ethan glared at the fox before taking off. Noah laughed at him and Lyria smiled.
The next morning Ethan came back.
"Can you keep an eye out for Lyria while I go hunt, she'll be hungry when she wakes?"
"Yeah."
"Don't do anything naughty while I'm gone." Noah teased Ethan and he glared back at him.
'That sly fox and his teasing.'
Noah left to hunt and a little while later Lyria finally woke up.
After getting something to drink and going to the restroom, Lyria finally felt awake.
"Is Noah hunting?"
"Yes."
"Are the priest going to come?"
"If they are it'll be a couple of days."
"Do you know where Feline City is located?"
"I do. Are you planning on going there?"
"Yes. I was supposed to go there before the rogues invaded, and after they're taken care of I want to go to Feline City. Once I've done the barrier I'll have to go back to Fox Tail village first. So if you need me I'll be at the falls."
"Why are you telling me this?"
"Because you're the general. Noah will follow me back in forth, but when I'm away I thought it was best to tell someone where I'll be, since I would like to be a part of this war."
"Females don't have to fight."
"I know that, but still I want to. I can be of help to you."
"How? What can you do to help besides the barrier?"
"I'm a healer, give me some time to make an outfit that conceals most of me and collect some herbs and I'll show you."
"So you want to prove your worth that bad?" Lyria nodded her head, determined. "Fine, I'll give you till noon."
"Okay."
Lyria went to work to find spidersilk and collect the herds she'll need. The spider she looking for is underground near soft moist grounds or caves.
It took a while but she was able to find some and got to work quickly making one large piece of cloth that'll cover her completely. Most of it was knotted tightly together except the part she'll see out of. It was knotted loosely around where the eyes were.
When she finished, she gathered all her things and quickly went back. She didn't realize how late it had gotten.
'I hope Ethan's not too mad at me.' The thought worried her a little.
