The time of their departure coincided with the opening of the Cultivation spring to other Forces. So Yang Rai spent another year strengthening the disciples of his allies.
Something he had been doing was focusing on maximizing the other 8 Artifact Worlds to match his original. He had been rapidly doing this but even so it takes a lot of materials to do this. Even with his insane abilities creating such a wondrous place for people to live was not an easy thing to do.
One of the many things he did was create as many Highest Rank resource generators as possible. He even temporarily had to stop using the materials to upgrade his glyphs.
He had also been rapidly increasing the StarField trees. They were one of the most important ones. This was because with enough of these fruits he could refine a new one of his artifacts. He would give some of this to his children that could handle the strain of such an artifact.
Several alchemists had desired to create an herb garden for their craft. Yang Rai created thousands of them over the various Artifact Worlds. There would no longer be any issue of finding proper herbs for alchemy.
Yang Rai had also begun to refine another couple of the Artifacts he sent the other group with. It was a surprise for the Cave Heavens and Paradises to see this work of art. They would be surprised the next time around. He was really trying to finish his steps before going.
Years later a message came back from the Ink Battlefield everyone had received. A proof that Void land had drastically turned the tide of war. There had been reports of the Void land ships appearing at the sound of war drums. Quickly taking action and forcing the enemy back. It was a display of absolutely overwhelming power. Something that changed everything.
The reports had said most of the people that had been Inked had returned to their senses and recovered. There the unfortunate ones who weren't saved in time. A last ditch effort of the Ink Clan forcing them to either self destruct or just die on the spot. The Ink Clan knew that it wasn't a good idea to just hand back the Disciples. So they would rather no one have them.
"While it is unfortunate news to hear of their deaths, this is a good thing. With this we can say for certain that we changed the course of the battle."
