Yang Rai decided to try absorbing another set of rank 1 materials into his glyphs. It felt like it was doing something but it wasn't quite enough. So he decided to try absorbing two sets into each glyph at a time. This worked and the glyphs were successfully promoted to T7 R2. The difference in energy is far more than he expected. Out of curiosity he decided to try splitting them apart again. It worked and he was now able to continue increasing his Glyphs once again. He began to utilize all of the 4th rank and below resources to upgrade his glyphs once again. He took many years doing this. It was at this point he had been inside his seclusion for next to a year. He was getting worried by how long he kept the gourd vine. But since it was another source of rank materials he had to keep it for as long as possible.
Yang Rai began to gain a deeper understanding of the dao of time. This caused a shift in the Small sealed world bead. After spending so much time inside of a world that progressed faster than the outside he could see the connection points. And he sped the world up even more. It had a directly massive profound effect on him. The Rate the small sealed world bead flowed was 25 times that of the outside world now. This increased his World force stores drastically again. Filling up his knowledge with a massive quantity and exceptionally pure energy.
Yang Rai would spend more time in seclusion. However he was done with the gourd vine. He no longer needed its help and it no longer needed him. There was never any deal for Yang Rai to rank it up to produce rank 6 gourds. Which makes sense since the higher the rank the harder it is to refine. Something that Yang Rai knows ALL TOO WELL. Yang Rai sent the gourd vine out and had called for someone to return it to Yue He.
Now alone with his spirits again Yang Rai began condensing the remaining rank 5 materials into 8 more trees. Each tree took 9 sets of materials to form its foundation. Yang Rai didn't want to rush it too much since the Rank 5 trees took a large number of glyphs. However Yang Rai decided not to look at it as a bad thing. Since when he fuses the glyphs into the tree the small excess flows into the small sealed world. It ended up being a good way to slowly increase the strength of the world without constantly shoving resources into it.
Now with 9 Rank 5 trees and no more left over rank 5 resources aside from the ones the gourd vine had produced. Yang Rai reluctantly had to leave seclusion for a little while. Just to see the changes in the outside world. To him about 10 years have passed yet only slightly more than a year has actually occurred. It was really for himself, since unlike most cultivators he is never really alone. He wasn't expecting anything but he practically barged into Yang Kai's meeting room. He was bored so he was curious to see what his brother was up to.
When he went into the room he saw a beautiful woman sitting near him. Yang kai was not expecting his brother. Though Yang Rai is really the only person who could get away with this. The woman was someone that seemed familiar with Yang Kai. So being the excellent little brother he is, the teasing came up instantly.
