Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

No doubt the DJ selected for tonight's party knew exactly what to play to keep the night groovy. The girls twerking and the guys Rocking them hard. Talk about drinks, it was available in surplus. Enough to take an average person 3 days to finish, but with the kind of people here, the drinks were surely gonna finish tonight.

The DJ scratched the disk and switch to another Jam, fueling the high spirits of the hormonal driven teens at the party.

Bianca held on to her shot of Tequila, she had taken a couple of shots. It's her birthday and her boyfriend Dave threw this grand all-night party for her.

"Bianca, your boyfriend knows how to throw a birthday party," Tunde commented, still nodding to the beat of the music.

"Omor, you won't expect any less from a rich boyfriend," Chioma replied, taking the shot of Tequila from Lara and draining all the contents in one gulp.

Tunde danced his way to the dance floor. Bianca watched with a smile on her face, as Tunde held on to a girl's ass, rocking her badly.

"Why ain't you on the dance floor? C'mon girl, it's your day!" Chioma said to Bianca, pulling her towards the dance floor.

Binance struggled and finally pulled her hand free; "My phone is ringing." Bianca stated and fished her phone out from her purse.

"Lemme guess, your parents?"

"Yes! And this is the twentieth time they are calling me. I have to go." Bianca replied, returning her phone to her purse without answering the call.

"Why? And would you go without saying goodbye to Tony? You know he threw this party for you, right?" Chioma asked. Trailing slowly behind her as they moved away from the crowd.

Bianca sighed and turned to face Chioma. Her mind was racing with different thoughts. she took one long look at all the decorations and people who had come to the birthday party and she sighed again, confusion written on her face.

"You know my parents are also hosting a little birthday party for me at home. I can't afford to show up. my dad will sue me in court!" Bianca tried to explain.

Chioma sighed and said; "You can go. I'll explain things to Tony."

"Thank you!" Bianca jumped on Chioma, in a tight hug. "I owe you one." She giggled and ran out the exit door.

The cold outside, pierced through her skin as soon as she stepped outside. She didn't realize how cold it was. she rubbed her palm together in a bid to warm herself up.

Her phone rang again, but this time she answered it.

"Hey mum, I'm coming home now. I was in a night class."

"Come home fast, you got us worried!" Her mum's voice echoed from the other end. She heard her telling her father that she was on her way before the call disconnected.

She turned to the left and the right side of the road, but they were no sign of any incoming taxi. She glanced at her phone's screen, it was almost 2 am she mumbled to herself and returned the phone to her pocket.

Bianca Daniel is the only child and daughter of the famous Supreme Court Judge, Daniel Femi. Her mother is also a famous lawyer. She had always been told the tale of how both her parents met in law school and fell in love. Bianca on the other hand was pressured to study law, which is the course she's pursuing at the university. Like her father always says; "The legacy of our family rests on your shoulder as our only daughter"

She kept walking down the road, but still no sign of an incoming car. She was about to pull out her phone to call her parents to ask them to send a driver to pick her up when a car's light flashed and drove to a stop in front of her.

"You dey go?" the man asked in the regular pidgin ascent.

Bianca took one glance at him but couldn't bring herself to get in so she nodded negatively and the car Taxied off.

She had walked quite some distance. She had called her parents and they had sent the driver over.

She stood beside the road waiting, turning a few times to scan her surrounding when she felt someone behind her.

She turned again, for the umpteenth time. Her mind grew uncomfortable and so she decided to walk away from the spot. And that was when she heard the footsteps behind her. She turned and saw him walking behind her. She increased her pace and so did her.

She started running but her heels didn't let her go too far.

He caught up with her and sealed her face with a black nylon. She kicked, tried screaming but he gripped her right.

She couldn't she and she wasn't strong enough to fight him. After a few minutes of futile struggle, she passed out after struggling from being breathless.
