As they arrived back at the beach home, Amy ran into Milo's arms, grateful to be reunited with him. Milo held her tightly, relieved that she was safe.
"I'm sorry, Milo. I didn't mean to put myself in danger like that," Amy said, tears in her eyes.
Milo shook his head. "It's not your fault. I'm just glad you're okay."
Dan walked up to them, a severe look on his face. "We need to talk."
The three of them sat in the living room, and Dan explained that Marco was still a threat. "He may have let us go this time, but he won't forget what we did to him. We need to stay on our guard."
Milo and Amy nodded in agreement. They knew they couldn't let down their guard, even for a moment. But they also knew they couldn't let Marco continue controlling their lives.
"We need to take him down for good," Milo said firmly.
Dan nodded. "I agree. But we need to be careful. He's not someone to be underestimated."
