Milo and Amy were relieved to see the bikie leave. They both let out a sigh of relief and tried to compose themselves. "What the hell was that about?" Amy said, her hands still trembling slightly. "I don't know, but I don't like it," Milo replied. "We should tell Dan about this."
Dan walks up to the cottage. He sat at the kitchen table with Milo and Amy and listened to their story again, asking for more details. "This sounds serious," he said. "We need to get the police involved." Amy shook her head. "I don't trust the police," she said, trembling. "I've had bad experiences with them before." Dan nodded. "I understand, but we can't just sit here and do nothing. We need to protect ourselves."
After some discussion, they decided to hire a private investigator. They searched online and found a reputable one in the area. The investigator agreed to meet them the next day. They spent the rest of the evening discussing their options and trying to devise a plan.
