I remember my origins in a small town off the coast off the red sea called Makna in 1200 BC which many people use nowadays but due to the fact that I am the Mistress of Plague wherever I go disease and sickness spread and mutate quicker usually affecting the whole world so I have isolated myself because I need humans to be alive and infected with disease for my power to grow. Death does not cause my powers to grow unlike Anubis an ancient Egyptian God who grows with any death in his territory. Anubis is currently fighting for territory with The Grim Reaper unlike us the Plagued as we are called who gather to talk about how to make a plague stronger, so it doesn't die but also doesn't kill too many.
Our plagues quite often are manipulated by the gods of death which then causes a massive amount of deaths. I am known to most as the peaceful plague, but my origins are not so bright. I started my journey in a small country within the Armenian Empire a country quite advanced for its time with aqueducts within the major cities. The small village I had begun within was called Turiu. The village was a group of hunters and gathers who settled down and begun to spread their wings into trade. The village often took horrible deals due to our lack of experience. That was till the Necromancer visited the town granting us nothing but the wrath of the death gods for harboring a Thief of their property.
I wailed and prayed to all the gods to bring forgiveness upon our time for my sacrifice to poison, plague, disease, and death. I got reborn as a mistress of plague when I died but at first I didn't know that all around me would be infected with diseases that would rapidly grow so I walked out of the temple to get rid of the necromancer for my village. Lighting struck towards the village hitting against a barrier of Negative or Necrotic energy depending on who you talk to.
I walked into the small cottage of bone to see an old man sitting at a table of bone smiling at me as he said " Great I get to die at the hand of a mistress of plague. The most common of gods but also some of the most powerful in the future when mana has run out. Oh young lady you might not want to stick around people for too long unless you want to kill everyone. You don't need to answer me I can see your thoughts. Don't become a demon like me." He then stands up and shoves his hand through his skull carving off the top of his skull leaving the brain exposed.
He scoops out his brain and says " Sometimes I wish I didn't have to live so long to grant this world a chance at peace from the meddling of gods that are inhumane. I guess this is goodbye Mistress use my brain in this elixir to grant yourself power to rival the death gods." He places his brain in my hands along with a piece of rice paper confusing me as he dissipates into negative energy which launches me away due to the amount of energy, he had condensed within him. I hear the screams of souls as they flee from the energy but strangely an energy within me stirs to stop it.
I realize that his goal for me is something beyond my understanding, so I grab a basket and put his brain within it. I then begin to walk to the temple walking past many people and begin to pray "Anubis God of Death please put to rest the souls that were captured by the vile necromancer. Ra God of The Sun may your grant us forgiveness for our transgressions and lighten the punishment of the sun."
