Zeno stared at the projectile going straight at him.
"Brilliant blue like theirs," he uttered; curiosity was still present on his face.
The next second, his eyes squinted as the ball of fire accelerated and appeared inches right before him. A loud bang occurred, enough to obliterate the whole ground.
Dust and pebbles drifted on the open air, but the entity above didn't stop as if not satisfied with the result. She launched several dozen more fireballs, bombarding the exact same place with a series of explosions.
However, when the curtain of smoke receded, a giant jet-black shield came into view. Afterward, the dice located at its center spun, and as soon as the surface with six white dots glowed, the shield vanished, and a jet-black arrow hovered towards Celestine.
The demon fox tilted her head a bit to dodge, then she lifted her hand, and the umbrella flew upward and stopped right beside her palm.
