But the demon's laughter rang in the garden.
"My physical form died a few weeks ago. My soul fused with this body already, and your queen's soul vanished the moment I set my eyes on her," the demon explained his situation, which caused the captain to knit his brows.
"Kill me, and she will die as well," he added.
Then Delta heard the princess' crying, so he took a glance at her, and upon seeing her still on the crib, he reverted his eyes, which widened as soon as he saw that one of his swords was stabbing the queen's chest.
"What have you done?" Delta yelled, and he immediately pulled out the sword from the queen's body.
The demon forced to free the queen's hand by moving it downward, resulting in her wrist getting cut in the middle. Then he pulled out the sword that had been struck on the ground and stabbed his vessel's chest.
"Y-you can't heal a dead person," the demon uttered as the queen's body died, smiling.
