Clauis was sitting in his class, listening the geography lesson but his thoughts were wandering everywhere.
[CLAUIS POV]
I need to make him come out, getting close to the male lead is tiresome but i have no other option. I received the reports yesterday, it looks like he is still on the battlefield, unifying his continent.
That is not my concern, what is more important is that i need to meet him! He needs a good scolding. One that he won't be able to forget, i will torture him so much that he will beg me to let him go. I will make sure that happens.
Creating rumours was way easier than anything in the world. Not only the Nobles but the commoners gossip too.
[End of Clauis pov]
That evening after the lectures Clauis stood in front of the notice board yet again and just like he thought Callisto came to him.
"I wonder which club you have decided to join?"
"I am decided i will join the library club."
"The library club...?"
"Yes, I am thinking of visiting the club today, I wonder if sir Callisto would be interested."
Callisto looked surprised for a second before quickly changing his expression to the sweetest smile.
"After all i did promise sir Callisto that i would be going with you."
"Yes, I would love to."
===================
Callisto and Clauis were walking down the hallway.
"I wonder what other clubs Clauis would be interested in joining."
"I am not interested in joining any."
"Not even the magic club? Since Clauis was a summoner i thought you would be interested in magic."
Clauis looked down, it's not like he was remorseful or anything but to get closer to the male lead, the easiest way would be pity, sympathy or in this case empathy.
Callisto got flustered, "My-my apologies, I-i should have known."
That's right how could he not know? Every action of his monitored by people supporting his brothers. No matter what he does it was always seen in a bad light or as if he was challenging his brothers. If Clauis goes into the magic club it could be seen as him trying to be better than his brother. So Clauis has no choice but to back down. He knows exactly how that feels- because he feels the same way.
"Why is sir Callisto apologising? There's nothing to apologise for?"
"Yeah... Oh! We have reached, let's go inside you should go first!"
"Thank you."
Since lectures were over the students had gathered in the library to complete their projects/assignments/homework.
The attention was on him and the male lead aka the prince.
Clauis looked around the library, it was large, larger than the one at his house, since the Martina house never produced scholars the amount of books were relatively less. Most of the books were about swordmanship and magic.
(A/N :- In a novel what do you like the most? I have a very hard time these days since there are too many dialogues, but I can't edit them all, and describe. It frustrates me.)
