Johan frowned, scratching his head.
"Erm... It doesn't exactly answer my question, Mr. Ridge. How do you know my name?"
Then, before the warden could begin to explain, everything fell into place in Johan's mind.
He jumped backwards, almost stepping on the edge of the elevator's door, still open, raised his hands, and got ready to fight.
"I don't know how, but you're on Clifford's payroll, right?"
Ridge's brow went up as he crossed his arms.
"What do you think you're doing, Mr. Reed?"
"I'm buying my escape from this floor, and you won't stop me!"
Ridge looked at Johan, while the young man charged towards the warden with haste, ready to throw what he had learned from Blackwood's diary at him.
But when Johan raised his foot to kick him right on his chest, Ridge didn't do a single thing to stop him, and Johan's foot never touched the warden's body.
