Johan looked like he was going to throw up.
"Tha-that's him. I mean... That's his face."
Lana's eyes narrowed to slits.
The strange thing with that piece of seemingly-looking skin was that, no matter from what angle she observed it, it felt weird.
It didn't even smell like rotten or anything like that.
Upon closer inspection, both Lana and Johan noticed another strange fact about what looked like Percival Blackwood's face.
"It's probably a type of tissue designed to resemble human skin, but it doesn't look rotten or decomposed in any way. In fact..." Lana risked taking it from the ground, and as if the gods were telling her that she was right, she was completely able to manipulate it, despite the absolute sense of disgust that the touch of the tissue had on her. "I believe it's a mask, not a face."
"But... What does it mean, then?"
Lana got up and exhaled.
