For the first time in a while, Johan didn't feel shocked.
Lauritz's statement didn't even surprise him, actually. He simply frowned, nodded, and retorted.
"I guess I already knew it..." He sighed wistfully. "I mean, it wasn't just a coincidence that I would literally stumble in one of my seven doubles of the theory, right?"
Ridge chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Johan glanced sideways at him.
"Nothing." The warden shrugged. "It's just that I didn't expect you to be so... Literate."
Lauritz glared at the warden.
"It was rude, sir. Why would you say something like that to someone so cool?"
Johan chuckled, surprised at how the sudden comment had broke the tense atmosphere around them.
Even though he still felt the weight on his shoulders.
