Chapter 4 - The Air Mage

Elara, Galen, Alaric, and Zephyr continued their journey, following the map given to them by Mordecai, the grand wizard. The next wizard they had to find was an air mage named Aeris.

According to the map, Aeris was living in a small village on the other side of the mountain range. The journey was perilous, as they had to cross a treacherous pass that was known for its sudden blizzards and dangerous cliffs.

As they climbed up the mountain, the wind began to pick up, and snow started to fall heavily. Galen, who was leading the way, urged them to keep moving forward.

"We can't stop now," he said. "We have to find Aeris before Malakai's minions do."

The wind howled around them, and the snowdrifts grew deeper. It was getting harder and harder to see where they were going.

Suddenly, they heard a loud rumbling noise, and a wall of snow came hurtling towards them. They quickly ducked behind a large rock and waited for the avalanche to pass.

When the snow had settled, they cautiously emerged from their hiding place. They looked around and saw that they were now on the other side of the mountain range.

As they continued on their journey, they came across a small village. It was a quaint little place, with houses made of stone and thatched roofs. The villagers were friendly and offered them food and shelter.

Elara and Alaric asked around and finally found Aeris. She was a young woman with long, flowing blonde hair, and piercing blue eyes. She greeted them warmly and invited them to stay for a while.

Over dinner, they explained their mission to her. Aeris listened carefully, and when they finished, she nodded her head thoughtfully.

"I understand your quest," she said. "And I am willing to help you. However, I must warn you, Malakai's minions are searching for me too. They know that I possess great power, and they will stop at nothing to capture me."

Elara, Galen, Alaric, and Zephyr nodded their heads in agreement. They knew the dangers of their quest, but they also knew that they had to keep going.

The next morning, they set out towards the third wizard, a fire mage named Pyra. According to the map, Pyra was living in a remote area of the land, near a volcano.

As they traveled towards the volcano, they saw smoke rising from its summit. They knew that they were getting close. However, as they drew nearer, they could feel the intense heat emanating from the volcano. It was almost unbearable.

Finally, they reached Pyra's dwelling. It was a small hut made of stone, with a chimney that led up to the top of the volcano. They knocked on the door, and Pyra answered.

She was a fierce-looking woman, with short red hair and bright green eyes. She greeted them warily and asked them why they had come.

When they explained their mission, Pyra looked at them skeptically.

"I have no desire to get involved in your petty wars," she said. "I am perfectly content to live here in solitude."

Elara, Galen, Alaric, and Zephyr pleaded with her, explaining that the fate of the land was at stake. After much convincing, Pyra finally agreed to join them.

The four wizards were now united, and their quest to create the powerful force that would defeat Malakai was one step closer to being realized. But the hardest part was still to come. They had to combine their powers and create the force, a task that had never been attempted before.
