The next morning the weather seemed unusual. The environment never seemed the same anymore, where I could see violent gangs hiring cars heading Mzuzu. I felt exhausted in carrying and writing the book anywhere I go, only to find out that there were demonstrations in all cities organised by the coalition over the increase in fuel prices and all other things in the country. The fire ceased when most of the people lost their lives in all cities hospitals were full of injured people but the party kept on ruling, the prices of things were now extremely on pick. It took a week for everything to come back to normal. That's when I remembered the word I heard from one of the great people that if the situation doesn't change it definitely wants you to change. I could tell that here we just needed to change our minds in doing things.
That week we had to start our end of semester examinations I carried up that same Monday in the morning as I was going to class I met my ex girlfriend Joanne talking the truth I wanted to talk to her looking at her eye contact she needed me too back but we just passed by. Again it was Thursday morning we met as I was crossing the road we saw each other that I couldn't withdraw back my eyes. The next thing I realised is I was at the village but I didn't know what had happened.
"kodi ndikutani kuno?" I shouted. (what am I doing here).
Oh! My son welcome back you were hit by a car you have been in the hospital for 6 days until the doctor said you can go home that's how we took you here. Checking my phone had cracks all over the screen found 22 missed calls of which 20 were from one new number. Switched on my facebook account I saw people talking much about "the book of odd" but I didn't have any idea of what the book was all about, after reading I saw all the contents were of my book and my name at the end of it. That's when I realised that I lost the book but did not know who had published it. Few days later I realised that it was Joanne who called 20 times of no my answer. It was actually my friend I went to the party with who published my book and titled it and a week later I was called up to to go and finish my remaining exam papers.
The end.
