Chapter 1 - Prologue : A truck. And more trucks.

~Somewhere In New York City, US~

Cale, Adrian and Ben were all friends since they were but tiny children, growing up together almost as brothers. Today was just like every other days of their lives, buying stuff.

"Reminds me why we decided to go on foot again." Ben grumbled, annoyed having to wait for the red traffic light to changed. He was rather muscular for his age and was carrying all their groceries. He was the one insisted on doing it after all.

"Weren't you the one who suggested it saying its good for health?" Cale turned to him, he was tall but not as tall as Ben was. He stood at 5'9 without shoes while Ben's 5'11. He said he was 6 feet though.

"Hey! you spent most of your time studying shit in that room for most of the time And—" Ben beckoned at Adrian beside him who was focused on his game playing god knows what. "This guy is even worse than you. He's stuck up inside his room the whole day! What the heck is he even playing?"

"I'm preparing for my final." Cale said. "And Adrian, well...he did spent some time going out to shooting range."

"When were you interested in guns?" Ben snapped to Adrian, arching his eyebrows. "Can you even lift a gun with that body? You should work out, man. Come with me to the gym next time."

Adrian rolled his eyes, "I don't think muscles has anything to do with shooting guns, you gym retard. And i'm sure I have a better eating health style than you."

"When did these chinese instant noodles became healthy?!" Ben said, shaking his head. "This isn't good. You've even became stupidier now."

"Shut the fuck up and go listen to those sigma alpha male pod casts." Adrain flipped him off before concentrating on his game.

Meanwhile, Cale accidently bumped into a girl at his side. He turned to her with a smile to apologize and it wasn't long before that interaction turned into a long conversation.

"Why the hell would I listen to these guys?" Ben growled. "Get off that phone. You're on that 24/7.Can't believe i'm saying what my mom used to said to me. Am I a mom now?"

"Why the fuck are you growling?" Adrian recoiled back in disgust, putting on his earpods. "Did you get that from those wattpad stories."

"I'm not reading that shit." Ben spat. He frown at the traffic light. "Is that thing broken or what. I feel like we've been standing here for hours."

Cars honking, the crowd's loud footsteps and chattering, that's what surrounding them right now. At this point he can't help but think that.

"Ah, finally!" Ben exclaimed as the light turned yellow. He turned to see Adrian still on his phone and Cale getting a number from the girl he was talking to.

Waving at the girl who had to go around the corner, Cale turned back to his friends. "My bad, that took a while. Let's go."

Ben dead-panned, "Isn't that like the fifth girl today?"

"Maybe." Cale smile in respond, taking a few of the groceries from Ben off.

"I don't mind carrying all that." Ben said before grabbing Adrian, dragging him along. "You know, we haven't hang out together as before lately. Maybe we should go on a trip or something, after your final."

"Sorry. My parents are pressuring me to get into uni so you know." Cale smile apologetically. "But yeah sure, we could go on like hiking trip?

"Sounds good, I missed going hiking with my father." Ben sighed, staring at sky. "You?Adrian?"

"Huh? What?" He looked at him confusedly as Ben yank his earpods away. He shrugged. "I don't know what, but i'm down with whatever."

"Great—" Ben eyes widened when a truck ran through the traffic with full speed. It doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon and worse is it's heading towards them.

"Oh fuck!"

"Crap!"

Cale and Ben too saw it following his gaze. All three of them sprinted forward to get away from their previous spot, where the truck passed through to get itself slammed into a building on the side walk.

They looked back at the crash site, breathing heavily.

"That was close.." Cale heaved a sigh of relief while Adrian sat down on his butt, his heart pumping faster than usual.

"Hah! Not today truck-kun!" Ben cackled but his celebration fell short as they spotted another truck coming their way, faster than the first one.

"Motherfuc—" He quickly dropped his bags before grabbing Cale and Adrian, pulling them away.

"Two in a row, that's one bad luck." Adrian commented, this time standing on his feet.

"This is weird." Cale muttered, looking around.

The people that were together with them have already crossed the road safely while they were the only ones behind and he don't think these trucks happened to crash near them due to bad luck.

"Fuck! Did somebody put a bounty on us or what." Ben managed out a chuckle. A chuckle that died down immediately when they heard another frenzied honking.

They all looked back to see one—no two more trucks, pushing away the cars in front of them while driving to their exact direction.

"Yup. Something's definitely wrong." Cale wryly smile, hurriedly hauling his body which the other two did the same.

"We got the whole truck-kun's family here." Ben remarked.

"We got more." Adrian said in a deadpan voice, pointing at the distance where they could see several more cars.

"Don't know what's going kn but we only got one option." Ben took a deep breath.

"Okay, time to skaddle!" Ben shouted, turning to the side walk and start running as fast as he could. "I'm not waiting for ya two!"

"Don't have to tell me twice."

Cale ran passed him, surprising him and before he could say anything else, he saw Adrian catching up from his left too.

"Oh no,don't you say it. Don't say it!"

"On your left!"

"Fuck you!"

After some minutes of running after the two, his whole body was drenched in sweat. But soon he reached the two, who were sitting down on a bench as if they have forfeited their lives. With his chest heaving, he approached him slowing down.

"What are you two doing.."

Adrian pointed at the direction they were running into. "There's another group there too."

"And there too. And there. And over there." Then Cale pointed at all the directions they could run off to. Now they were completely surrounded.

"You're kidding me." Ben took a long breath in exasperation.

"Nope. 100% facts." Adrian crossed his arms.

"This gotta be some prank." Ben said, looking at all the trucks in the distance.

"Then it's one hell of an expensive prank." Cale chuckle, his voice cracking. "Those three trucks earlier seems like they're at least millions USD."

"Or this might be some isekai process. But we dodged the first truck so what being out there is sending another. And we keep dodging these. You get the circle?" Adrian said, he himself wonder if he has gone insane. "So maybe we should just let ourselves get smashed."

"First of all, that last part could get a better wording." Ben pointed out. "Second, you read too much novels my dude. And third, let's say some supernatural shit is happening, but even so i'm not giving my life this easily!"

He held up his fist. "They want me? They will have to EARN it!"

"Okay, go fight them then." Adrian pointed at the trucks that are closer to them now.

"Pfft." Adrian and Cale chuckled as Ben's face fell. But their chuckle wasn't lively as before now, it was just nothing more than an attempt to crush this feeling of dread.

"Oh fuck..."

Ben sighed, walking over to the two before he slumoed on the bench with them. They all silently look at the parade of trucks onward. The honkings of dozens trucks, their roaring engines was as loud as it could be.

But never in their life had life been more quiet than now. They closed their eyes, awaiting their impending doom.

The engines of the trucks were near and later noises of crashing echoed throughout the city. Yet they did not feel any pain and as the noises died down, they saw all the trucks all around them, colliding onto each others and not even a single one hurt them.

"...." The three of them looked at each other in shocked before smiling which turned into a laughter.

Then they noticed a large shadow envelpoing them from above, prompting to looked at the sky. The sky was blue, beautifully blue with unique cloud shapes throughout. There was something else special. It was a truck, facing down descending from the high air.

"Ha..seriously?" Adrian arched his brows. "This is overdoing now."

"I agree." Cale said with a faimt smile, collasping onto the bench.

"I bet the Auther knew we weren't expecting this one."

They all laughed together as the truck fell upon them. Then everything went black.

...

...

...

That everything black slowly changed into white.

"Puah!!"

"What the fuuu-"

All three of them suddenly found themselves in a white space. It was all white and bright yet strangely it did not hurt their eyes.

"I'm not dead?!" Ben quickly ran his hand all over his body.

He was wearing the same clothes he was wearing before dying and strangely enough it was neatly clean with no traces of bloody mess.

"Cale?! Adr!?" Ben looked at the two in front before exclaiming with his mouth gaped, rushing to both of them before hugging them tight. "Fuck yeah! We're alive!"

"Uh...yeah,good news." Cale said, his face paled which was imitated by Adrian. He held up a finger to tap on the broad shoulders. "But mind letting us go now."

"I'm gonna suffocated." Adrian let out a whisper.

"Oh, my bad. I was just too excited!" Ben said with a grin, letting go of them as they gasped for air. He turned around excitedly, lookkng around the room only to be disappointed with emptiness. "Where's our guy at, eh."

Cale noticed something above them, pointing at it. "There's something over there."

"Huh? That's..." Ben squinted his eyes.

"Looks like a panel." Adrian commented.

[Welcome, Rovers. We hope you had a nice sleep.]

[Welcome, Rovers. We hope you had a nice sleep.]

"The fuck you mean a nice sleep?!" Ben scowled. "So you were the one trying to kill us with all these trucks!"

[Incorret. It was our creator and the one who have chosen all three of you for this occasion.]

"Oh, so we have our ROB? Where's that guy at?" Ben asked.

[Our creator has returned back to the high plane to rest. But rest assured, our creator has created us to assist you in any way. If you have any question, you may ask.]

"So, doesn't that mean we won't get wishes, like those novels?" Ben frowned. "We're just sitting ducks if we got transported to another world without any wishes. I mean, unless it's some slice of life anime."

He shivered at the thought of having to face most things shown in animes. Watching them from television is another things.

"We should just ask...whatever this is to explain all instead of asking a question each time." Cale said, looking up at the panel. "Can you..how do we address you?"

[You may simply refer us as Guides. And for your inquiry, yes we can. Allow me to begin, Rovers. Before our creator left, he built a system that would help you in your travels. That system is us.]

[Ways we could be of assistance are as followed-]

The systemGuide then showed them a long screen before them, this time where they could look without having to hurt their necks.

[Most of our assistance operate similar to a gacha as our creator called it. There are two types, one is 'Lottery' where you have a chance of winning any items with the exception of characters. It use a currencyPoints.]

[The other is a world lottery, where you may get a world you may stay permanently. It also uses the same currencyPoints.]

"Wait...what? Aren't you just gonna send us off to a world and we stay there?" Ben arched his eyebrows. "That's how it usually works in these novels I read."

[No, you will not be send off to a random or a specific world. The place here is called the Lobby and will be your primary home until you have gain a permanent world from the lottery. And this is where you will need to return to use our assistance stated earlier.]

"I...see...that's..uh, unique." Ben scratched his head.

Then Cale inquired. "How do we get the so called points? I assume we have none right now, so we don't have worlds to go to."

[Points can be aquired through completing , killing and reselling the items or worlds you do not wish to use. Points obtain from Killing may varied depending on who you killed and it also have a chance of dropping one of the killed individual's strength.]

"Woah! That's incredible. Better than I expected." Ben jumped with a grin."We're gonna be so overpower so quickly!"

"What is he doing..." Cale asked himself with a faint smile as Adrian leaned near him with a low voice.

"Isn't he like this after we got here or it just me? What happened to him.."

"Haha, who knows."

[The chance of the droprate of a killed individual's abilities are low to none.]

"Boo!" His body stiffened, flipping at the screen mid air. "You're such a mood killer."

[And our creator has left you a gift. Each of you will get to draw 10x free of charges while for , only one of you may be chosen to draw. The world obtained from it will be accessible to all three of you.]

[Noted: The worlds a Rover have drawn will not accepted the other Rovers visit unless you have a certain item that can be aquired from the . This first free draw is an exception.]

"Seriously? What a bummer." Ben groaned. "Is there any reason for that or what."

[Only our creator knows.]

"So...where or how do we draw?" Ben said, rubbing his hands like a fly eagerly with a grin.

[You may find the lotteries if you follow the indicated arrows.]

A bunch of glowing arrows emerged from thin air, leading at a certain place. Following the arrows, they found arrived at the site.

Well it wasn't hard to spot them when the whole space is empty and white. The and were two large spheres floating above two platorms. However was much larger with three rings around it.

[World Lottery]

[Required points - 100,000]

[Lottery]

[One draw - 100]

[Ten draws - 950]

"The world one is expensive..." Adrian stared at the screens, seemingly tired of something. Some memories when he had to spend so many hours leveling up at a game to enjoy it's full experience came to surface.

"We'll have to grind a lot of points...ugh I hate grinding." He grumbled. "Worse type of mechanic ever."

Ben's head immediately snapped towards him. "Whaat! You don't realize how leveling up motivate you to pushes yourself beyond your limit!"

"Um...how do I say these..." Ben rubbed his temples, searching for words. "Fuck I can't word it but that just means we will have to work harder. No more slacking around."

He gave Adrian a slap to the back with a smirk, clenching his fist. "The grind never stops even after death! HAAAAAAHH!"

"Why the hell are you doing?! Do you think you're a saiyan?" Adrian said at the sight of Ben going 'super saiyan'.

Cale on the other hand was talking to the Guide.

"Wait, I believe you haven't finish explaining all of the things you can do." Cale said to the Guide.

[Yes, we will continue where we left off. Aside from the lottery, there's the where you may purchase items. All available items will be refreshusing your planet time every 75 hours. You can use this by thinking .]

[You also have . It allows you to store items inside, either from the worlds you visist or from the . You can store things if you're in contact with them, living beings are exceptions. You may use it simply with a thought.]

"Storage?" Adrian murmured after ignoring Ben, his eyes widening when he suddenly feel an empty safe somewhere inside his mind. It was wide, he could feel it.

And he wasn't the only one. Cale and Ben who stopped fooling around also experienced it.

"We put stuff in it by touching them, right." Ben took off his jacket and with a thought, it vanished from his hand. "Woah...pretty cool."

"So it is an inventory except we don't see a screen." He mused. "And I can feel my jacket...as if I could take it out anytime I want..."

"Not just you." Cale said to him. "I can also feel your jacket. So Adrian might be the same too."

Suddenly, Ben sensed his jacket disappearing from the storage only to see Cale holding it.

"So we share this storage thing, huh?" Cale said, looking at the jacker for a bit in his thoughts before tossing it back to Ben.

"That could be helpful."

[There is an additional storage called . Unlike , it is not shared and belongs only to each Rovers.]

Their attention were focused back to Guide when it's displayed words on the screen changed.

[Then there is , you're allowed to visist a world for a period of time with tasks assigned to you by the will of each worlds. The difficulty and rewards are depends on the worlds and the tasks given to you.]

[To utilize , you may simply call it with a mental command.]

'Event.' They all thought at the same time and immediately each of them got a screen before them.

"Wo..." Ben scrolled up and down swiftly with his finger. "There are so many..."

"Hm...there aren't any anime relate at all." Adrian murmured in deep thoughts as he carefully look through each events.

Cale was simply staring at the events in silent, rubbing his chin. 'Some of them seems like they're fantasy worlds. Oh, is that a Gundam? Adrian would definitely wanna go there. He always has been a mech lover.'

The screen displayed before them had the informations listing the objectives, description of what happened and some option tasks. At the bottom, it displayed the rewards while at the top was some images.

"Hey guys, check this one out. It looks cool as fuck." Ben approached the two, with a wave of his hand his screen flew over near them.

"Mother Rome's fall? Decaying Rome?" Adrian arched his brows, reading the objectives and description. "What's this, some kind of ancient zombie out break?"

"That's a new one and sounds interesting." Cale said, staring at the images shown.

It had two, one was the city burning with a large hord swarming the whole of Rome. The other was the city now emptied with countless buildings debris, it lost all the majestic it once had and filled with walking corpses slowly decaying wandering the city.

In the center of both images was a statue that still had most of it's structure intact. The images reminded him of some arts that depicted the Sack Of Rome. Truly a tragic event it was for every men.

"See? And beside beheading a horde of zombies, it's ancient rooome!" Ben squealed with all his might. "Zombies legionaries? Fuck yea!"

He started jabbing at the air for particularly no reason. "Let's go there!"

Cale smiled at him, swiping his screen away. "Not so fast now. We should draw first and see what we get, we need to prepare first. You're not planning to charge at a zombie horde without protection, are you?"

"Yeah, one bite and it's game over." Adrian nodded.

"Ah." Ben paused. "Of course I know that! I was just excited! Do you think i'm an idiot."

"Yes." Adrian immediately replied, nodding granting him a painful look from Ben. He ignored it, "So who's drawing?"

"Cale should. He's always been the lucky one out of us isn't he." Ben said, "Especially with the ladies."

"As long as it isnt me, my luck is terrible with gacha." Adrian shrugged.

"You hear us?" Ben smiled , making Cale sighed.

He walked in the front. "Alright, if we get some dangerous world don't blame me."

"Hey, don't jinx it!"

Adrian covered his ears, flinching. This wasn't the first time he reacted like this to Ben's sudden burst of energy. "Why do you got so many energy? Is that what dying does to you?"

"Guide, I wish to draw the . How do I do it?" Cale asked the air and a second later, Guide appeared.

[Affirmative.]

The sphere glowed a variety of color that filled the plain white room, it's rings spinning around it. A few seconds afterward, the sphere spew out a ball shaped blood red light. It flew slowly towards Cale, stopping just before him.

"Well, this is....interesting." He looked at it with a wry smile.

"Huh? What's wrong? What did you get?" Ben peeked over from his shoulders to see a screen before the red orb displaying a few words, all of which are very red.

His face fell the moment he read it.

[Warhammer]

"...war...hammer?" He covered his mouth before bursting into a laughter. "Pft-Haahahaha! What luck, you totally jinx us dude! I told you, HAHAHA!"

"Haha..." Cale weakily chuckle, "You guys wanna go there?"

Both responded as he expected.

Ben immediately stopped laughing, putting on a serious face. "Indeed, as much as it contain dangers beyond what we can face, killing even a few fodders will get us massive points I bet. Considering their fucking power levels."

"But...I refuse." He shook his head, crossing his arms. "Heck no! I'd rather get a donut treatment a million rimes than go there. God knows how many fate worse than death are there in that shitbole of a universe."

"I'm not going there either." Adrian backed away from the orb.

"Alright, we're selling this then." Cale turned to the air, holding up the red orb. "Guide?"

[Affirmative.]

The sound of the orb breaking apart reached their ears before it completely turned into countless blue particles. The three A, B, C stared in wonder, marveling as the particles surrounded Cale's body.

[ <50,000> Points have been transfered to Rover C.]

"Only half of what we need to draw? You're cheap, Guide." Ben commented.

"I think it's fair." Adrian said beside him.

"This is certainly a new feeling." Cale looked around his body, the sensation of the particles—Points he assumed, entering his body was refreshing. It was like a refreshing cold shower.

[By going to , your total Points will be displaed at the top left corner. You may also transfer points to other Rovers if you wish."

"I see, i'll keep it in mind and thank you, Guide. ." Cale smiled at Guide.

Then both Adrian and Ben realized they have not check the too so they folloaed suit.

[Balance : 50,000

Items for sale - refresh in 74:21

Suit Of Armour Statue - 40 points

A Carving Knife - 10 points

Tunic Pant Set - 5 points

..... ]

Ben and Adrian's shop weren't the same as his. Their total balance was zero and all of their items listed ae different from each others.

"Now, that leaves us the ." Ben said excitedly, grining ear to ear. "Can't wait!"

He hurried to the other floating sphere and shouted at Guide, "I wanna draw this one, use my 10x draws!"

[Congratulations! You've got-]

---

I've always wanted to see a fic where friends die and reborn together, but I've found nothing like this so as Thanos said, Fine i'll do it on myself.

But seriously, this is gonna be difficult with multiple mains. Prob why there isnt fics with this kinda thing. Not sure about regular uploads though and feel free to write down which worlds they should go for, preferably movies and tv shows.
