Brother Andrew arrived on Templar territory just after lunch to see all the newly initiated Templar warriors sat outside the accommodation block waiting for him. As he pulled up they all stood, picking up their bags ready for the journey home.
As Brother Andrew looked in dismay when he realised there was one member missing.
“Where’s Duncan?” he asked, the other five warriors just shrugged.
“I won’t be long.” he said as he stalked off towards Duncan’s room, he found the room empty so he decided to try the stables.
As soon as he entered the wooden building he saw the Duncan with his back towards him as he groomed a Kelpie.
“Duncan, we are ready to go.” Duncan turned around in surprise.
“I’m not leaving, Alpha Solomon has given me permission to stay, sorry, I should have let you know.” he said as he put the brush down and turned to Brother Andrew. “I’m happy here, I love the Kelpies, we’ve got three mares about to give birth and they need all the help they can get here.”
